Afrochic home styling, a statement piece in any space. The African Beaded Shields are art pieces that are favourites of decorators, designers, and lovers of African Home Decor. Shields come in various colours and designs, on stands or loose, which can be showcased on a feature wall, or standing.
These decorative shields are uniquely "one-of-a-kind", crafted by talented artisans. Inspired by defensive shields used by the hunters and warriors of the Tikar Tribe, these shields are made for decoration or ritual objects which symbolise status and wealth. These beaded decorative shields are adorned with a combination of beads, cowrie shells and Manila string.

Terms and Conditions on Lead times for Shields
All orders are subject to acceptance and availability. The lead time for orders is typically 7-14 days for our shields as they are imported, during which the product is manufactured and shipped to the customer's specified address. It is important to note that lead times may vary based on current demand and shipping times may be affected by factors such as customs clearance and local delivery schedules. To ensure the timely delivery of your order, please make sure to provide accurate and complete shipping information. By placing an order for Cameroon Shields, you agree to these terms and conditions and acknowledge that the lead time of 7-14 days is an estimate and not a guarantee. Please refer to our REFUND POLICY as custom made items are not returnable unless by special arrangement with management.
Please note that lead time and courier delivery time are two separate timeframes.
- Product lead time: the estimated number of working days required to prepare, make or source your item before dispatch. Each item has its own lead time, shown in red above. Where stock is available or an order is completed sooner, we will always endeavour to dispatch as quickly as possible.
- Courier delivery: approximately 2 to 7 working days once your order is complete and handed to the courier, depending on your location (regional or city centre). Courier transit begins only after your order has been completed and dispatched, and should not be confused with the product lead time shown above.
All lead times are estimates. While we make every effort to complete and dispatch within the stated timeframe, handmade and made-to-order items can occasionally experience delays outside of our control. Should there be any significant delay, we will endeavour to keep you informed.
These products themselves are all handmade, and while we maintain a high standard of production and quality control, we equally celebrate the individual and their craft, and trust our customers appreciate and value this too - This gives each item a unique character and charm! Colour is natural as represented by product image. Small variances may occur in size and shape due to the handmade nature of these items.
